Named after the Russian tsar Alexander I. this square is one of the most important public transport hubs of Berlin. The Berolinahaus by Peter Behrens from the year 1932 (before the reconstruction) and the Hotel "park inn", built as "Interhotel Stadt Berlin" in 1970.
